Luca Maestri, Apple's CFO for more than a decade, has moved on from the CFO position, now replaced by Kevan Parekh, Apple announced in a Form 8-K. 53-year-old Parekh used to be the head of Financial Planning and Analysis, G&A and Benefits Finance, Investor Relations, and Market Research, and had been so since 2013. He was previously "Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis and Vice President, Finance for Sales, Marketing, and Retail", and before Apple he lead as senior leadership at General Motors and Thomson Reuters (news source Reuters' parent company, among others). Luca Maestri (who said that being the CFO was a "real privelege and an amazing journey") was not rejected from the company, however; he will stay as the head of the Corporate Services teams (among which include development of Apple campuses, "information systems and technology", and company security).
