The deadline for Apple (and every other tech company selling in the EU) to upgrade all devices to USB-C has passed (it was December 28th, while I was on vacation), and that means that Apple has said bye-bye (at least in the EU) to its iPhone 14 and iPhone SE 3, as previously rumored (check out my December 15th post (here: https://www.seeds-of-apple.com/post/lightning-iphones-might-be-discontinued-in-the-eu) to find out more). This means that there isn't any more iPhone SE on the European market, but it's only temporary: we'll get a new, redesigned iPhone SE (with iPhone 14 features like a notch, a 6.1" display and a home button absence integrated, along with USB-C) as soon as springtime. These are the last vestiges of Apple's now-deceased Lightning line. Coming April of next year (next year's 2026 already!?), these regulations will be changed to include laptops, but all Apple's MacBooks have had USB-C since last decade, so no additional adjustments like this will have to be made on the laptop side of things.
