Summer is the perfect timing for college students, faculty and teachers to buy new tech for the year coming up, and so Apple loves making extra deals during this time just for them to add on to year-round college student/faculty/teacher-exclusive Education Store discounts. Apple calls the sales event Back to School, and it is now live in the US (it expires on September 30)! Here's more.
The deals that Back to School offers are only for iPads and Macs (the primary education devices of Apple's lineup of product categories), but some services are also discounted, for example, the Apple Music Student plan includes Apple TV+ for no extra cost, and AppleCare+ is 20% off. Anyway, $100 gift cards (that's basically the only type of deals that Apple offers for iPads and Macs) are now bundled with the M2 Mac mini and the latest iPad Air and Pro announced at Let Loose, and $150 gift cards are bundled with MacBook Airs (including the old M2) and Pros plus iMacs. You can't use the gift card against a Mac or iPad, but you can with future Apple purchases and services.
