As announced at the Let Loose event, the Final Cut Pro 2 app is just came yesterday for iPad (two days late: according to Apple, the app would come "later this spring" and now because the summer solstice was a day ago yesterday, it isn't spring anymore), along with Final Cut Pro for Mac 10.8 and Final Cut Camera for iPhones with iOS 17.4 or later!
As a reminder, Final Cut Camera is both a piece of software that brings Live Multicam (Live Multicam is a feature that lets you connect to several iPhones/iPads at the same time and see up to 4 frames on a single iPad, if you don't remember) and a standalone iPhone/iPad app that lets you control things like shutter speed and ISO, by the way. Along with Live Multicam, Final Cut Pro for iPad 2 also takes advantage of the new iPad Pro's power, according to Apple. The new Mac update brings AI features like Smooth Slo-Mo and Enhance Light and Color as well when used in M-series Macs. Final Cut Camera is free, along with the iPad and Mac Final Cut Pro updates (well, if you're already using the apps: for newbies, you'll have to see if $5 a month/$49 a year for the iPad app and $300 for the Mac app is burning a hole in your pocket).
