Apple has now debuted the very first update to iOS 18 (except an update that was only for the 16 lineup and was still named iOS 18.0.0), iOS 18.0.1! Like all _._.1 updates, though, it's just bug fixes, and most of the four updates aren't even fixing problems affecting all iPhones. If you want to see the full list of updates anyway, it's freezing camera during ultra wide macro 4K non-HDR video for the iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max, performance bugs because of a memory issue with "some iPhone models", screen freezing with the iPhone 16 lineup, and Messages quitting when replying to a share of a watch face. For watchOS 11.0.1, the bugs fixed are battery drain, quitting of Music when loading music, random restarts, screen freezing on models 2023 and newer, and the watch face sharing issue previously mentioned. For macOS Sequoia 15.0.1, the bugs fixed are bad compatibility with non-Apple security software and the Messages issue, and for visionOS 2.0.1, the bugs fixed are browser extension data leaving once updated to visionOS 2, Safari freezing with YouTube player, and the previously mentioned Messages issue. Oh, and on iPadOS 18.0.1, the M4 iPad Pros can now update to iPadOS 18 (Apple pulled it from those iPads right after launch due to an issue on those devices)! Speaking of software updates, Apple also has iOS 18.1 and its siblings (with s'more Apple Intelligence features!) in beta.
