Time for my iPhone 16 Pro review roundup! The sources are: Engadget, The Verge, Wired, CNN Underscored, Mashable, and CNET.
First, the battery life, chips and screens. Everyone likes the first two, with CNN Underscored noting that the 3-rd party pro camera app Halide has delays that improved from "already-minimal" to "barely noticeable" and Mashable likening the iPhone 16 Pro Max battery life to the "real-life Energizer Bunny" ("It just kept going, and going, and going, and going"). However, opinions are more mixed on the screen size bump, with some passing it without opinion, and some lamenting about its size. Finally, the camera. Both the 4K 120fps slo-mo and 48MP Ultra Wide got love (CNET especially for the former). The Verge also loved the fact that the photos of the iPhone 16 Pro are less processed than the iPhone 15. Overall, as one source said, it's as iterative as iterative can be, and the upgrades are small compared with the 16 (I would even recommend the 16 over the 16 Pro!).
