Q3 2024 earnings report date announced

Q3 2024 (which started on the last day of March (March 31) and ended on the second-to-last day of June (June 29)) just ended 10 days ago, and we already have a date for the Q3 2024 earnings report: August 1 (on a Thursday, as always). Also as always, the earnings report will be released 30 minutes after market close at 4:30 PM Eastern (1:30 PM Apple Park time), while a conference call open to all for listening will follow 30 minutes after that, at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT.

In terms of what announcements were made, both the Let Loose (featuring a new M2 iPad Air with an all-new size, a slightly redesigned thinner M4 iPad Pro, new Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro updates, and a new Apple Pencil Pro) and WWDC24 (featuring no hardware but the software updates iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15 Sequoia, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, AirPods Pro 2 software updates, and HomePod Software 18, plus the revolutionary Apple Intelligence) Apple events happened, plus the release of Vision Pro in more countries (specifically availability in mainland China, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong and preorders in France, Australia, Germany, the UK and Canada).

Analyst expectations for Q3 average out at $77.25 billion for revenue (a 5.6% decrease from Q3 2023's $81.8 billion) and a $1.33 EPS (a 12.7% increase from last year's $1.18, although analyst EPS expectations have historically been 4% lower on average than the actual reported EPS, bringing it up to $1.38 (+16.9% from Q3 2023)).
