When Apple originally announced support for AirPlay in hotels at WWDC23, it initially worked only with LG TVs inside IHG hotels (including hotels from companies that IHG owned). Now, a year later, it has only just been announced that any other TVs have support for the feature (pretty slow, right?). Specifically, Samsung hospitality TVs are going to be supported soon (still only with IHG hotels! Or maybe it'll expand beyond the brand, just Samsung was too unclear in its announcement to just say so!), starting with the HBU8000 model (other existing Samsung TVs will be supported soon after, though). According to Samsung, the expansion is part of a “broader strategy to enhance the in-room experience for hotel guests while providing powerful management tools for hotel operators.” If you don't remember, the AirPlay hotel feature works (in IHG hotels, as already mentioned) on iPhones and iPads with iOS/iPadOS 17.3 or newer and uses a QR code that doesn't need a password. Only select IHG hotels support AirPlay, however, and the full list (encompassing the US, Mexico and Canada) can be viewed at IHG's website at https://www.ihg.com/content/us/en/support/appleairplay.
